Privacy policy

Effective date: 23 July 2026. Print Ready is built so that there is almost nothing to write a privacy policy about: your design work is processed entirely on your machine, and the only personal data involved anywhere is what is needed to sell and validate a Pro license.

This policy is provided by the plugin's developer and operator, Pratik Patel ("we", "us"), reachable at pratikpatelpp802@gmail.com.

Your design data

The plugin renders, converts, and exports your artwork locally inside Figma on your device. The plugin's manifest restricts network access to the payment provider's two domains, so it is technically incapable of transmitting your designs anywhere (see Security and privacy for the manifest itself). We never see, receive, store, or process your artwork, file names, or Figma account data.

Description
Purchases are made from Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. Dodo collects your name, email address, billing address, and payment details to process the transaction, handle taxes (GST/VAT), and issue invoices. We do not receive or store your payment details. See the Dodo Payments privacy policy.

When you activate a license, the plugin sends your license key and a generic device label (for example "Print Ready - Figma (2026-07-23)") to Dodo Payments. Periodic re-validation sends the key and its device instance id. Nothing else is ever transmitted.

Description
As the seller we can see the purchase email address, order and subscription status, and license key activations. We use this only for support, refunds, and abuse prevention.

Description
The license key, its device instance id, the purchase email, and the last validation time are cached locally so Pro works offline. The Deactivate device button removes this record.

What the plugin does not do

No analytics, telemetry, tracking, or crash reporting.
No accounts and no server of ours - there is no database that could leak.
If you never buy Pro, the plugin makes no successful network request at all.

This website

This documentation site is a static site. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Your light/dark theme preference and the search index live in your browser only. The "Was this page helpful?" buttons do not transmit anything. Our hosting provider (Netlify) records standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP address and requested page) to serve and secure the site - see the Netlify privacy policy.

Emails

If you email us for support, we keep the correspondence so we can help you. Purchase, invoice, and subscription emails come from Dodo Payments as part of processing your order. We do not send marketing email.

Your rights and choices

Remove local data: use Deactivate device in the plugin, or uninstall the plugin.
Cancel the subscription: via the link in any Dodo Payments email.
Access or delete purchase data: contact us or Dodo Payments; billing records may be retained where tax law requires it.

Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK GDPR or India's DPDP Act), you may have additional rights to access, correct, or erase personal data - email us and we will help.
